I don't know about you guys, but this waiting is KILLING ME!!!! I still feel very antsy and the overwhelming need to DO SOMETHING!
According to the AMC website, full episodes of Halt and Catch Fire will be available for streaming on amc.com and via On Demand services until September 30. So I started to wonder if maybe AMC is waiting until the end of this period to assess those viewing numbers too? And if that is the case....
NEW FAN CAMPAIGN!!!!
Between now and September 30 (or until we get a decision from AMC), all supporters of the #SaveHCF campaign are encouraged to do the following:
- WATCH THE SHOW via amc.com or On Demand services if you are a subscriber. Binge season 2 from the beginning. Maybe twice if you want!
- ENCOURAGE others to do the same! This is a great time to try to spread the word about the show and encourage people to check it out.
- MAKE IT FUN!! Throw a Halt and Catch Fire viewing party and invite people over to binge a few episodes and hopefully get them hooked!
- Also continue to use your social media to talk about the show and encourage people to check it out. I used to post YouTube videos on my Facebook of the AMC Inside the Episode clips to try to spread the word about the show and encourage people to watch.
- If you live outside the U.S or do not subscribe to a cable service but still want to help, you can still help spread the word about this effort across social media and/or continue to contact the AMC Network to ask for a season 3 and tell them why you love it:

The way I see it, if AMC is gonna make us wait, we might as well do something with this time rather than just twiddle our thumbs and sweat it out. Start binge watching this weekend! As Boz would say, let's "blow the balls off the numbers!"
